Project Title: Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Programme Launch – 2022

Project Scope:

Match Marketing were successfully awarded the tender to create and a manage a fully integrated digital and mainstream media campaign to launch the Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship as part of Generation Apprenticeship. This innovative, new, and exciting 3-year apprenticeship offers exceptional opportunities for those looking to establish a rewarding and exciting career in the green and renewable sector. The apprenticeship is designed to meet the needs of the growing Irish Renewable and Sustainable Energy sector. It will equip apprentices with the knowledge, skills, and competence to inspect and maintain various wind turbine system components, locate, and diagnose faults, replace components, and reconfigure systems. 

The minimum age requirement for this programme is 18 years of age, with a QQI Level 4 Major Award (or equivalent), or at least 3 years trade-related experience.

Project Title: Kerry to Berlin – 2017 – 2020

Project Scope: In 2017 Kerry Airport launched the Kerry to Berlin route, it had been three years since the airport had announced a new route. It launched in October 2017 and our team were appointed to create and manage all aspects of the launch in the Irish market and to collaborate with tourism partners in the German market to promote the inbound traffic.
This was a commercially sensitive route which had previously been unsuccessful in Shannon Airport. The campaign was a commercial success and remains on the Kerry Airport schedule to this day.

Client Name: Bon Secours Hospital Limerick

Project Title: GP Engagement Communications

Project Scope: Working with Bon Secours Hospital Limerick since 2016 on both consumer campaigns and their GP engagement strategy. We initially worked on Orthopaedic services campaigns for both B2C and B2B in the Mid-West region. This campaign was also delivered throughout their title sponsorship of the Great Limerick Run event during 2016 and 2017, a leading event on the Irish marathon / half-marathon calendar. This then transitioned into the creation of the “Sports First at Barringtons” campaign for which we created the creative, content and PR campaign for B2C and B2B.

Project Title: Tascfhórsa Uíbh Ráthaigh (The Iveragh Peninsula) Marketing campaign

Project Scope: The delivery of the bespoke marketing and communications plan was framed by the Tascfhórsa Uíbh Ráthaigh 3-year action plan, published in 2019 to reinvigorate the Uíbh Ráthach Gaeltacht, to create jobs and to increase the population and viability of one of Irelands most beautiful and picturesque areas. A key objective was to welcome 10 extra families to live in the area within 3 years. This campaign was delivered throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, and due restrictions all the campaign assets were delivered digital and remote format.

  • Creation of key persona groups to whom the campaign would be targeted and to whom the principles of the campaign – Community, Connectivity & Culture, would most resonate.

Project Scope: We have been working with Killarney Credit union since 2015 on both consumer campaigns and internal documentation.  As part of a business growth strategy it was decided to merge with  two smaller credit unions and we created new branding for the Regional positioning whilst keeping the individual identity of each brand under the one umbrella.
